This is a practical session demonstrating how the Nokia Location APIs lets you integrate Ovi Maps into your service, application, or website. Jan Nowak and Tilman Kamp, Product Managers for Location APIs at Nokia, will show you how to display maps, show locations, and perform routing across different technologies while keeping the same functional logic.

Jan is a Product Manger for Location API at Nokia. He has started to develop for mobile devices (Windows CE 3.0) in 2000. Jan has a Diploma in IT science 2004 and since then has worked for multiple global players in mobile media (images, sound, video) and mobile gaming. Since 2008 Jan works for Nokia in Web APIs for Desktop and mobile, and sice 2010 is a Product Manager & Architect for Ovi Maps API
Tilman leads development of the JavaME Location API and Qt Location API at Nokia. From Technical University of Berlin Tilman receipt a Diploma degree in Informatics. In parallel he worked in the area of business software development with a focus on .net, Mono and JS. Since 2009 Tilman designs and develops Nokia Location APIs - first for web, afterwards for desktop and mobile platforms.
