Jason Jacobs is the Founder & CEO of RunKeeper, a mobile fitness platform for runners that incorporates a unique blend of tracking, sharing, , and coaching to enable runners to get motivated, stay motivated, and improve their results over time.
RunKeeper built one of the first 200 apps on the iPhone, which has been downloaded millions of times and was named a top 10 iPhone app of 2009 by TIME Magazine. They continue to expand onto additional smartphone platforms and devices, and have a big, engaged, passionate userbase on the web at www.runkeeper.com
Prior to founding RunKeeper, Jason worked for 10 years in VC-backed technology companies, always longing for the day when he could start his own. He holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from Wesleyan University.
