Gadgets and hardware of all sizes, types, and prices are adding location. Ryan will run a panel with some of the most innovative creators.
Ryan is the Co-founder of gdgt, a consumer electronics media startup (funded by True Ventures and Betaworks, among others). He is also former editor/editor emeritus of Engadget, a web magazine and network of sites focused on obsessive coverage of consumer electronics and technology.

Paul is the Senior Director for webOS product marketing and is responsible leading the team that defines and executes webOS software strategy. Paul worked at Handspring prior to Palm’s 2003 acquisition of the company and has lead development efforts for a number of products including email on Treo devices. Prior to Palm, Paul held consulting positions at Cyberplex and Andersen Consulting.
A native of Canada, Paul earned his BS in Engineering from Queen’s University.
Jidesh is the Technical Advisor for software development at HTC. He joined HTC in 2007 to help lead the software development of Touch Diamond. After Touch Diamond Jidesh relocated to Taiwan early in 2008. In his current role he works closely with business development and product planning to drive the next generation software investments for HTC.
Prior to HTC, Jidesh worked at Microsoft and shipped Internet Explorer, Windows XP, Windows Mobile, and Visual Studio Team Systems.
Jidesh earned a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
Scott Scheuber is the Manager of LBS Strategy and Product Management for Garmin International, and is responsible for driving product innovation through the use of advanced location technologies. Before leading Garmin’s LBS initiatives, Scott was Garmin’s Wireless Product Manager where he was instrumental in launching and managing several mobile products such as nuvifone and Garmin Mobile (PC, XT, and offboard solutions). Prior to joining Garmin, Scott was at Motorola for ten years and he had roles of increasing responsibility including Technical New Business Development Manager.
