Google Earth provides a rich platform for multimedia and imagery. Learn how to make the platform your own.Google Earth provides a visualization platform for sharing geospatial information that is both deep with data and imagery, but also rich in terms of functionality. The addition of the new Google Earth 5 Tour functionality, and the GE 5 plugin, makes it possible to develop new Google Earth-enabled web sites. Google Earth can be used to develop multimedia applications for GIS, games, simulations, social networking, business, education, and more. This session will demonstrate cutting edge applications, discuss the availability of developer resources, and will even describe tools available to use the platform without coding.
Audience: Targeted for anyone interested in Google Earth. The session will not focus on coding, but will discuss developer resources and limited code samples.
