With an explosion in location-aware devices, companies are looking forward to opportunities where they can pinpoint their marketing messages to consumers in an attempt to increase brand-awareness and conversions at point of sale. However, this is already a deprecated strategy that will only alienate customers.

With phones now becoming increasingly powerful devices, the number of distractions available to the user is exploding. In order to stay relevant to their audience, brands will now have to establish trust and value to their customers. In this session we’ll examine companies with mobile strategies that are doing it right. By using Push Notifications and other methods of engagement to extend their customer base as well as surprise and delight them. We’ll also cover example industries with exceptional opportunities to take advantage of mobile in a way that the user cherishes versus tolerates.
