Working with Geo Data in MongoDB

The workshop will start with a brief intro to MongoDB including how to import the datasets we will be working with. We will then cover basic geo querying along with more complicated queries such as “How many people live within 100 miles of the Empire State Building” or “How can I get to Coney Island from Central Park”

Mathias works on the core MongoDB server and maintains the C++ language driver. Previously, he worked at FactSet where he used MongoDB in a log analysis application. He has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
