Lynda Sharkey (Autodesk)
Location: Gold

This workshop will focus on the data, processes and technologies needed to build detailed 3D City Models that can be used for urban design and planning, analysis and visualization, economic development, sustainable design, tourism and emergency response. It will cover basic and advanced methods for integrating CAD, GIS, database and 3D modeling data into a combined city model that can be shared over the web, in applications like Google Earth and other real-time visualization environments. It will show actual city model examples in use today and discuss how these models are being applied to support both public and private initiatives around the world.
