I am kind of obsessed with that show about the quirky and wacky people who go to storage facilities and bid on abandoned storage lockers.  Sometimes they spend thousands of dollars on a locker only to find out that it is full of dirty laundry and the type of magazines teenage boys hide from their mothers.  Other times, they will spend only a few bucks on a locker and discover that it contains all kinds of treasures worth thousands and thousands of dollars, like original old-school video game consoles and rare baseball cards.

I am not sure where these storage facilities get the buildings they use for their storage lockers, but I think they should consider purchasing them from General Steel.  Steel buildings from General Steel would make great storage lockers because they are sturdy and well-built, meaning it would be difficult for thieves to break into them.  Steel buildings from General Steel are also quite handsome, which is a very important quality in a storage locker.  If I owned a storage facility company, I would make sure that all of my storage lockers were housed in genuine steel buildings from General Steel.  Furthermore, I would be sure to put this information on all of my advertising materials, to entice customers who were looking for sturdy and handsome storage lockers.  Finally, I might even convert one of those steel buildings into a little guard shack, complete with a patio and a garden.  That way I could have a live-in security guard on the premises at all times.  And if he or she had a garden, he or she could even grow some of his or her own food.

So, my husband and I really did think that we would be able to do the roof repair on our home ourselves.  We really learned our lesson on that one, and in the end we had to hire Roof Corp to come in and help get us out of the mess we created.  Roofing really should be left to the experts, even if its just a small repair that you think you need to take care of.  All the calking in the hardware store, and all the shingles and tools and instructions don’t really prepare you for being up on a steep sloped roof and trying to find the leak and trying to get it all covered up and calked and still looking like the rest of the roof.  There really is a reason why there are strong roofing companies that do this all the the time and know exactly how to do what needs to be done.  We weren’t really trained in how to find the leak that we were looking for, and I felt like both of us were about to fall off the roof a few different times.  Its much better to hire a company like Roof Corp to come out than it would be to get hurt falling off a roof and have to pay the medical bills on that on top of all the costs for the roofing supplies and equipment that we already purchased.  So in the future we will know better and always hire the specialist to come in and take care of the problem.
